El Korg CX-3 fue creado en 1979 simulando el sonido «tone wheels» de un Hammond B-3 / este modelo tiene 3 pre-sets, drawbars, percusión, distorsión y reproduce el «click» de las teclas de los Hammond que imita / actualmente quedan muy pocas unidades de este modelo original en buen uso.
