Yamaha presented, on September 19, the latest generation of the CFX, grand grand piano for concerts, at the Teatro de la Maestranza in Seville.
The new Yamaha CFX has been born thanks to the combined efforts of skilled craftsmen and the use of the most advanced technology, together with the close collaboration of artists. During the presentation, the constant improvement process to which this model has been subjected was explained, designing versions according to the feedback of the most prestigious pianists. The underlying philosophy is the "Unibody Concept", according to which piano and pianist form a single unit, so you have to get a piano that the pianist feels like an extension of his own body.
During the event, David Dorantes and Juan Pérez Floristán were able to experience the outstanding qualities of the CFX, and later share their experience of symbiosis between pianist, technician and piano, in a round table, in which Cristóbal Soria, piano tuner and technician from Call & Play Sevilla, and Félix Hazen, director of Yamaha Ibérica.
