All it takes is a piano, in this case a Yamaha CFX, for a pianist of Juan Floristán's stature to fill any space with magic and art. This was the case of the concert he gave in the Plaza de Nuestra Señora de la Estrella, in the Seville town of Valenciana de la Concepción on Sunday 23 June.
Floristán began with the Schuman Carnival and went on to play pieces from his repertoire by candlelight and surrounded by the respectful silence of the audience, broken at the end of the concert by applause that did not cease until the artist offered an "encore" of thanks.
