Maria João Pires at the Maestranza in Seville with our Steinway D-274

Maria João Pires, together with the Mozarteumorchester Salzburg, directed by Trevor Pinnock, offered an extraordinary concert on February 11 at the Maestranza Theater in Seville, as part of the 'Cita en Maestranza' cycle.

The repertoire included works by Beethoven and Mozart, which sounded with all their strength and musical richness thanks to the “prodigious Steiway” —in the words of Carlos Tarín in the ABC newspaper— played by Maria João Pires.

This concert has meant the public presentation of this piano, recently incorporated into the Call & Play piano section. The tuning and preparation was carried out by Cristóbal Soria.
