Mercè 2010

The Festes de la Mercè, where music plays an important role, were celebrated in Barcelona from 23 to 26 September. The BAM (Barcelona Musical Action) Festival took place, which has traditionally served to discover new local talent and to show the latest, most interesting international acts. Also there have been concerts with many types of music all around the city: Plaça Sant Jaume, Av de la Catedral, Plaça de Rei, Plaça dels Àngles, Plaça Reial, Plaça Joan Coromines, Portal de la Pau, Fòrum etc.

Call & Play’s challenge has been to work simultaneously on 10 different stages (seven arounda the city and three in the Fòrum) with the considerable movement of equipment, personnel and vehicles which that involves.

Thanks to Xavier Brengaret’s hard work in the Barcelona office planning this event everything went smoothly and the final outcome was satisfactory in all senses.
