Miguel Poveda has performed in Cáceres on October 15, and in Badajoz on October 16, within the Extremadura Suena cycle. Poveda has presented his latest work «El tiempo pasa volando», a double album in which not only new songs are included, but where also other established flamenco artists are honored. A mixture of passion for the new and respect for the traditional. The public of both concerts has been delighted with the performance of the artist.
Call & Play provided the instruments for the band, including the Yamaha CFX grand concert piano for Joan Albert Amargós, pianist from Poveda. Joan Albert Amargós commented to our tunerman Cristóbal Soria that he had not only played, but also enjoyed, due to the quality of the sound of said piano, and, from Call & Play staff, we thank him very much for his kind words. The microphones and monitors were also from Call & Play.
Extremadura Suena is a new series of concerts that was born in 2021, with the aim of supporting live music and making the public enjoy and feel the emotion of attending a concert. The events take place in the Palacio de Congresos de Cáceres and the Palacio de Congresos Manuel Rojas de Badajoz during the months of October, November and December.
