Ideal microphone for use with camcorders. Due to its high directionality, the MKE 600 picks up sounds coming from the direction the camera is pointed and successfully attenuates noise coming from the sides and rear. Its switchable "Low Cut" filter also minimizes wind noise. Very good suppression of noise propagated by structures. Because some cameras/video recorders do not offer Phantom power, the MKE 600 can also be battery powered. An "on/off" switch prevents the battery from discharging prematurely and the "Low Batt" indicator from being displayed.
