Sintetizador de 76 teclas fue lanzado en 1990 como un sintetizador «Super L.A. (Linear Arithmetic) Synthesis» y sucesor del popular D-50. Pero, al contrario que el D-50 el D-70 realmente es un sintetizador «sample playback», más parecido al U-20 que al D-50 / MIDI.
